The McCormack Family Legacy
The McCormack story began in 1957 when Frank and Mary established McCormack's Auto Service in Deagon. Built on hard work, quality workmanship and genuine customer service, the business quickly developed a strong reputation throughout Brisbane's northside.
In 1965, their son Peter joined the family business, helping continue its growth and evolution. As the business expanded, so too did its reputation, eventually leading to a move from the original Deagon workshop to larger premises beside Sandgate railway station in 1991.
The next chapter began in 1996 when Bodie, Peter's youngest son, joined the business. Continuing the family tradition, Bodie has helped guide McCormacks into a new era, expanding beyond general automotive services and growing McCormacks 4WD into one of Brisbane's leading destinations for vehicle upgrades, touring builds and aftermarket accessories.
While vehicles, technology and customer needs have evolved over the years, the values established by Frank and Mary remain unchanged: honest advice, quality workmanship and treating customers the right way.
